African Calabash Volunteer offers low cost volunteering opportunities to international volunteers who wish to volunteer in Ghana.We place our international volunteers in institutions such as schools and hospitals to provide services. ACV organizes workshops, seminars and other public lectures for volunteers who like to educate the public on certain social issues.We also have a vibrant African Dance Ensemble that offers dance, music and drumming training to our volunteers. Our school programme is for volunteers who want to teach english,creative arts,sports and other subjects in primary schools.Volunteers are needed to help children to learn how to read and write english.Local volunteers organize free weekend classes for children.Volunteers who have special skills in sports can teach children how to play volley ball,net ball,soccer and athletics.Volunteers who want to teach children some basic computer technology are welcome.The minimum requirement for one to take part in our school programme is high school education.Volunteer with us for an awesome experience.
