Our founder, Carl Gandia, was trained as a wax model maker, bench jeweler and gem setter. In the early days of Greenwich Jewelers, if someone came in looking for a piece of jewelry he didn't have in his shop, he'd craft it for them. Slowly but surely, this kind of custom, handmade jewelry became the reason clients would return and recommend his services to others.
