This web page is about Siddle modern tartan. Siddle modern is a new Celtic tartan design which is derived from a much older tartan. Siddle Modern was designed by Maxine Scott of Perthshire. Maxine works for the HOuse of Tartan in Perthshire of Scotland. The House of Tartan is a company which is owned by Blair Urquhart. Blair is famous for a is writing, and books, on the subject of tartan cloth and fabric designs in general. The new Siddle tartan cloth design originates from a much older tartan fabric which was originally used by Sir Andrew Siddle's Mother's side of the family. By redesigning the cloth a new Siddle tartan has been created which will now be available for all future relatives and descendants of Andy Siddle. Siddle modern Tartan is registered at the International Tartans Index, in Scotland, and also at the World Wide Scottish Tartans register.Registration took place in May 2006 and July 2008 for the World tartans register.
