The Hot Air Ballooning Experience We fly at sunrise every day of the week (weather permitting). Join us for tea or coffee, and watch the crew prepare the balloon for flight. The air adventure flights last approximately an hour and on landing, wherever that may be. Sparkling wineand / or orange juice is served while the crew pack away the hot air balloon. A retrieval vehicle will return you to the venue for breakfast, where your pilot will award you with a commemorative certificate. Where do we fly from? Air to Air Africa - Hot Air Balloon Operators is based in the Cradle of Humankind, near Lanseria Airport (about 35km north-west of Johannesburg in Gauteng). This area is a World Heritage Site which includes Game & Nature reserves, on the banks of the Crocodile River.
