For three years I was Director of the Mount Lebanon Shaker Village Museum where I published a book on the subject of the Shaker furniture. I am past President of the Lenox Historical Society and now serve on the board. My personal interests are early history of Berkshire County, especially early industries in Glass and Iron making, Archaeology, Anthropology, Geology, Architecture, early Industries of the Berkshires, Writing, collecting items from the Berkshires rich past and volunteer work throughout Berkshire County and New York State. I have my own extensive library, which I use for research; I also have many contacts throughout the country in the fields of art and antiques I can call on. I have a collection of Berkshire County history books and early maps and we use International online services for up-to-date auction prices. I am a member of the New England Appraisers Association.
